Love Aaj Kal is an upcoming romantic drama film written and directed by Imitiaz Ali. The film stars Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in the main roles. The film is scheduled to release on 14th February 2020 on the occasion of Valentine’s day. The film was produced by Dinesh Vijan, Imitiaz Ali under Window Seat Films, Reliance Entertainment, and Jio Studios.
Pritam has composed songs for the film, Ishaan Chhabra scored background score. Amit Roy is the cinematographer for the film, and the film was edited by Aarti Balaji. The makers of the film officially declared the film on 17th January 2020.
The title of the film came out on 16th January 2019, The first look of the film was released on 20th March 2019 along with the release date on it. The trailer of the film was released on 17th January and it got a huge response with 43 Million views and 668K likes.
The songs are also on the other side, getting an immense response. the first single ‘Shayad’ which released on 22nd January 2020 got 42 Million views on youtube. Later, the second song was released on 29th January 2020 which also got 40 Million views.
Imitiaz Ali is coming with this film after Jab Harry Met Sejal which was released in 2017. Karthik Aaryan’s previous film turned out as a blockbuster with huge collections. He is expecting another hit with Love Aaj Kal. on the other side, Sara Ali Khan was last seen alongside Ranveer Side in a commercial movie Simba which released in 2018.
by watching the trailers of the film, we can understand that Love Aaj Kal is about two love stories from different eras. the couple from one era struggles about society restrictions while the other modern couple struggles to balance work life and love life.
The trailer looks decent with attractive visuals, cool music which plays in the background. The film can turn out to be blockbuster if it gets positive talk from day 1. the film’s success is a much needed for Imitiaz as his previous films did not do well at the box-office.
