As for the TV side, it’s a good month to get animated with both Big mouth and F is for Family premiere of their fifth seasons (on November 5 and November 25, respectively). It’s the live-action version of an animation classic, but that could well be Netflix’s crown jewel this month. Cowboy Bebop will premiere on November 19 and based on the first trailer, it will keep the spirit of the beloved anime. And speaking of big hits, Tiger King 2 arrives on Nov 17.
Netflix’s film offerings this month also have no shortage of major titles. The Star-Studded (Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot) Red notification premieres on November 12. That will be followed by the Rent creator Jonathan Larson biopic tap, tap… BOOM! on Nov 19. The month ends with the Halle Berry MMA drama bruised on Nov 24.
Of course, Netflix’s non-English titles are pretty hefty this month, too. But don’t just attribute that to the squid game effect, the streamer has strengthened its international presence for years. If anything has hit potential this time, it might be: Train to Busan director Yeon Sang-ho’s series Hell bound on Nov 19.
