Created by Julie Plec, Legacies is an American fantasy drama television series. It aired on The CW on October 25, 2018.
If you have not been a part of its journey, it is a spin-off of The Originals and features characters from both that series and its predecessor, The Vampire Diaries.
Danielle Rose Russell is featured in the show as the 17-year-old Hope Mikaelson, continuing the role she originated in the fifth and final season of The Originals. Matt Davis also features prominently in the series, reprising his role as Alaric Saltzman from The Vampire Diaries. The third season premiered on January 21, 2021. In February 2021, The CW renewed the series for a fourth season which is set to premiere on October 14, 2021
Storyline
Legacies feature Hope Mikaelson, the daughter of Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall, descended from some of the most powerful vampires, werewolves, and witch bloodlines. Exactly two years after the events of The Originals, the 17-year-old Hope attends the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. The school provides a place meant for supernatural beings to learn to control their abilities and impulses.
When will it be on Netflix?
The third season of Legacies premiered on The CW on January 21, 2021, and concluded on June 24, 2021.
However, with its delay on the network television, it is likely to be delayed to come on Netflix. It is not the same as its last seasons. They were available on Netflix after a week of their finale season.
