Lasya Manjunath was born as Lasya Abhimani in the year 1989 at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. She is the youngest daughter to her parents as she has an elder brother. She has done her schooling in Hyderabad and did engineering in Electronics and communication from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad.
Lasya was once rumored to be in a relationship with her co-anchor Ravi with whom she worked on her first TV Show. However, Lasya has put the full stop and denied the rumors of her relationship. She got married to her long time Partner, Manjunath Chillale, a software engineer in the year 2017. The couple has given birth to a Baby Boy in the year 2019.

Lasya made her acting debut in 2017 with the film “Raja Meru Keka”, which has got average reviews. She has also appeared in the film MLA starring Kalyan Ram, and Kajal Aggarwal in the year 2019.

She started her own Youtube Channel in the year 2019 with the name ‘Lasya Talks’ where she posts different random videos related to her daily life, cooking videos, and other talk shows. She has also done interviews for film promotions.
Lasya has got several awards like Padmamohana Arts Theatre Award for Best Female Video Jockey in 2014, Zee Kutumbam Award for the Best Anchor in the same year. Later, She received a Gold Button from Youtube in 2019.
Lasya was involved in speculations regarding her participation in 2019 Big Boss, for which she denied the offers and said that she will take care of her newly born son and not participate in any shows.
However, now, Lasya is in talks to be one of the participants of Big Boss to be started from 6th September 2020. The official announcement is not made so we cannot confirm but there are high chances of this to happen.
