The original film, Kanaa was a big hit in Tamil. It was well-received by the audience and the critics. And makers thought the film will be received well in Telugu states so they remade it Telugu. It looks like some major parts of the movie are taken from the original and rest are remade.
As the film is releasing today, on Friday, the film will not be having any major competition this weekend. This is the only big film that is releasing this week. Along with these, there is also good positivity surrounding the film.

Kousalya Krishnamurthy Movie Review
After Jersey, we are seeing another sports drama film in Telugu. Kousalya Krishnamurthy played by Aishwarya Rajesh, is a girl who aspires to become a cricketer. How she does that and what challenges she faces is the story of the film.
Rajendra Prasad, Plays the character of Krishnamurthy (Character played by Sathyaraj in Kanaa), father of the Kousalya, is a farmer. He has a story of his own in the film. The film revolves around these two characters, the father and the daughter.
Aishwarya Rajesh’s performance was brilliant. You will feel like you are watching a real cricketer on screen. Her acting was a big plus to the movie. And veteran actor Rajendra Prasad is as usual brilliant with his emotional performance.
The story is heartwarming. The journey of the character is beautifully written. The story was perfectly handled by the directers. And Dhibu Ninan Thomas’s songs and background score, and I Andrew’s visuals support the vision of the director.
To conclude in a sentence, I would say, Kousalya Krishnamurthy, is must-watch heart touching father-daughter emotional drama.
