Kerala Film Body Warns Actor Fahadh Faasil After Consecutive OTT Releases

After the incredible success of ‘C U Soon,’ the action-thriller, released during the lockdown time. Actor Fahadh Faasil has rocked the OTTs with two more hits, ‘Irul’ released on Netflix and ‘Joji’ launched on Amazon Prime.

The latest news is circulating the industry highlights that the Kerala Film Body has issued a strict warning to Fahadh Faasil after three consecutive OTT releases. These movies’ mind-boggling success has compelled the film body to take a significant step as OTT releases are a significant setback for the theatre owners.

The FEUOK informed Fahadh Faasil that if he continues his OTT ventures, the board will restrict him from launching any film on the big screens. The warning has just shocked the actors, and his most awaited big-budget movie, Malik, scheduled to air on Eid in theatres worldwide, may suffer due to these uneven circumstances.

Although actor Fahadh Faasil has not given any official statements, the FEUOK is trying its best to reach a mutual understanding. However, the board has cleared that they will prohibit Fahadh’s movies in cinemas if the star continues to collaborate with online platforms.
