Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Kaithi is the Tamil language action thriller film starring Karthi in the lead role. The filmmakers revealed that the film does not have a female lead with Karthi. Karthi is playing the character of a prisoner named Dilli, who was serving a life sentence. Narain is playing a character called Arul Kumar.
Along with Karthi and Narain, the film also stars George Maryan, Ramana, Vatsan Chakravarthy, Yogi babu, Mahanadi Shankar, Ponvannan, Thalaivasal Vijay and Krishnamoorthy.
Kaithi is produced by S.R.Prakashbabu, S.R.Prabhu and Tiruppur Vivek under the banners of Dream Warrior Pictures and Vivekananda Films. Sathyan Sooryan is the cinematographer of the film. And the film is edited by Philomin Raj.
Music is composed by Sam C.S. He also composed for Vikram Vedha, Nota (Tamil and Telugu), Ayogya, etc. And now he is coming up with Kaithi. He had composed beautifully for the previous films and we hope this movie would be another hit album in his career.
