Kaappaan Day 1 Collection – Bandobast 1st Day Box Office collections – Suriya, Mohanlal

The much-awaited Suriya, Mohan Lal, Arya starrer Kaappaan has finally hit the film screens today.  Fans are eager to know how much the film on its day 1, so we thought we will let you the estimated collections of the film.

The film opened to a massive positive response from the fans and critics. This has resulted in increased occupancy in evening and night shows especially in Telugu states. In Tamil Nadu, the occupancy was already 100 percent.

On Day 1, the film is estimated to have collected 16 crores worldwide. The Tamil version is estimated to have collected 13 crores while the Telugu version, named Bandobast has collected 3 crores.

This is a great start for any film. And considering the star cast and the hype the film has, with the weekend ahead, the film is going to set the box office on fire in the few days and the week after that.

Kaappaan Tamil version theatrical value stands at 44.5 crores. So the film needs to collect 75 crores gross to break even. And the Telugu version’s theatrical value is 9 crores. Which means it has to collect 16 crores gross. So this start will come handy.
