Ozark Season 4 would be the last installment we’ll ever receive. The Netflix original crime series has been a rollercoaster ride of many things. From the sage of the Byrde family to the thriving family business, there were too many aspects in the story.
The show’s makers and the fans are happy with the renewal as it would give more time and room to end the show.

The last season would most likely wrap up all the storylines. We’d also be able to see the end of the Byrde family’s debt to the Navarro Cartel.

When will Ozark Season 4 hit the screens?
Ozark’s season 1 was released back in 2017. The second season came a year later. However, season three did not air until last year in March 2020. Season three was an instant hit and attracted many new watchers.
The production for the series started in November last year, says Jason Bateman. Although the series has been releasing its seasons with a varied time gap, there’s a chance that the previous installment may come out earlier than planned.

As per Jason Bateman, season four may not leave the fans waiting “much longer.” With COVID-19 abrupting production, there’s a chance we’d have to wait out a whole year before we see the next series.
At the time of writing, there had been no official release dates. In some interviews and statements, it is clear that the series is being produced. Furthermore, with actors and showrunner Chris Mundy, it is understood that the production is a little slow.
How many episodes would Ozark Season 4 have?
Chris Mundy, the showrunner, was quoted saying that season four would have two halves. The show would, in total, have fourteen episodes. As per an interview with Chris Mundy, it has been confirmed that the first half would air only seven episodes.

However, Bateman, who also participated in the interview, said they think the production would wrap up quite soon. Although the crew is a little concerned with timing, with most people being away on vacations, the crew is hopeful that they can finish the production on time.
