We know there’s no new episode of Grey’s Anatomy or Station 19 ready to air on ABC next Thursday or the week after; however, we’re getting an indication that some big things are ahead once these two shows get back on the air.
To be specific, let’s go ahead and ask the following question: Is Ben Warren’s life in danger? The promo below definitely makes us wonder. It seems like we’re getting more of a legitimate crossover between these two shows lately after some half-hearted ones, and a series of explosions serves as the focal point of what happens. Bailey notes that she hasn’t been able to get hold of her husband and almost immediately, this is where some of the worry starts.
Now, of course, we should note that there is a real history of many previews completely faking us. There’s a pretty good chance that this is all some kind of complicated trick to make us believe that something is happening when it isn’t even remotely the case. Ben could be okay, but do you really want to assume that everything in this world is guaranteed? This is a franchise that released DeLuca last year, and beyond that there are countless other characters that have been murdered in both shows over the years.
What we do feel is this: if we get a legitimate crossover that’s more than a little story spilling over into the other, it’s reasonable to expect legitimate fireworks. Someone could die, or at the very least we should be very afraid of it.
Going back to the title, at least temporarily, you’ll need to take some solace in the knowledge that there’s no clear sign of Jason George leaving this world right now.
