Gandhi Jayanti – 2nd October | Mahatma Gandhi Quotes, WhatsApp Status, Photos

We are about to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Gandhi with a lot of programs. The programs are in preparation not only in India but in many parts of the world. Rallies, poster competitions, debates, lectures and what else. The chart is unending.

To respect the principles followed by the wonderful personality Gandhi, students of various schools will light up solar lamps and commemorate his non-violence policy. More than one million students from not less than 60 countries will take part in this.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, also known as Bappuji or Father of the Nation( India ), was born in 1869, October 2. His birthplace is Porbandar in Gujarat. There are many other ways students plan to honor their Bappuji. In Gujarat, more than 1.16 crore students planted tree saplings back from June 15 itself. There are many subjects on which students can elocute on this auspicious day. The most striking and evergreen subject for the day is “the relevance of non-violence in present-day from Gandhian principles.”

The topic is most relevant to talk about the present conditions of the whole world. The talk could torchlight to the reason behind the United Nations General Assembly’s decision to make Gandhi’s birthday as “Non-violence day”.

When the country was struggling to regain freedom, Gandhi’s principle of non-violence lead India to Freedom from centuries-long slavery. Before his contributions to the motherland, he worked for Indians living in South Africa and won their rights without violence. His delicate looking yet strongest and most noted strategy gained him a lot of power over the situations.
