The 66th version of National Film Awards has finally been declared. This year, the event was delayed because of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Otherwise, it would have happened on May 3 just like every year.

Though it came late, the board is getting appreciated for the choice of winners it chose. Many films that are most loved over the year, were recognized by the board. Here is the complete list of winners:

  • Best book on cinema: Malayalam Book Mano Prarthana Pulley; In A Cult Of Their Own gets Special Mention
  • Best Film Critic: Blase Johnny (Malayalam), Ananth Vijay (Hindi)
