Hotel Mumbai is based on the attack by terrorists on Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace Hotel located in Mumbai, India. The film draws inspiration from the horrifying Mumbai attacks which took place back in 2008. The action thriller film of 2019 has reportedly been directed by Anthony Maras whereas it has been co-written by both John Collee and Anthony Maras.
The film features an ensemble star cast, such as Armie Hammer, Dev Patel, Anupam Kher, Nazanin Boniadi, Jason Isaacs, Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Nagesh Bhosle, Suhail Nayyar and lastly Natasha Liu Bordizzo. Hotel Mumbai first premiered on the 7th of September 2018 at the Toronto film festival.
In addition to this, the film premiered at Australia’s Adelaide Film Festival on the 10th of October 2019. Later the film did release in Australia on the 14th of March 2019 and 22nd March 2019 in the US.
The film took a long time to release in India, Hotel Mumbai released in India on the 22nd of November 2019. However, after releasing across India, the notorious piracy site, Tamilrockers has leaked the film, which might be a bad thing for the film in India.

Tamilrockers have leaked the film a few days after it released in India. For quite some time now, Tamilrockers has been leaking the newly released films like Joker, Avengers: Endgame among others either on the same day of its release or within a few days of its release.
The leak is a complete nightmare for the makers of Hotel Mumbai. However, people are well aware that they shouldn’t support piracy as it kills the entertainment industry.
