Akshay Kumar’s Good Newzz has earned some decent amount at the box-office of around 186.7 Cr on its first 17 days. Here are the 18th-day collections of Good Newzz. Good Newzz had around 1.54 % of occupancy on, 13th January 2020 at the box-office. Good Newzz may earn up to 3 Cr on its 18th day.

According to reports, Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 was affected by Good Newzz which was released on 20th December. But, Good Newzz may get affected by the new releases ‘Chhapaak’ and ‘Tanhaji’.

The film earned around 75 Cr overseas in the first 18 days while in India, the collections are around 217.31 Cr and it got 278.17 Cr worldwide. The film is slightly failing to perform as it got a weak response in areas like Chennai, Hyderabad, Kerala with less occupancy, when compared to other areas like Kolkata, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Pune, and many more, where the film is getting some huge numbers as occupancy, is high.

The film features Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Diljit Dosanjh in prominent roles. The film was directed by Raj Mehta, produced by Karan Johar under his banner ‘Dharma Productions’ along with another banner ‘Cape of Good Films’.

After producing for films like ‘Kesari’, ‘Kalank’, ‘Student of the year 2’, and ‘Drive’, Good Newzz is the fourth film for the banner “Dharma Productions” in 2019. The production house, once again, got a huge hit with Good Newzz after Kesari. Akshay Kumar has already signed two films Laxmi Bomb and Sooryavanshi with the banner “Cape of Good Films” which will be released in 2020.

This film got more opening collections than Akshay Kumar’s Previous films of 2019 ‘Kesari’, ‘blank’, ‘Housefull 4’. Also, Good Newzz is the fifth film for Akshay Kumar in this year after some good films like Kesari, blank, mission mangal and Housefull 4. Akshay Kumar’s previous ‘Housefull 4’ has collected around 284.0 Cr.

With a festival and weekend end ahead, The film can run in this week and may stop after this week.
