Dead to me is an American dark comedy. The third season’s announcement has come up with a mixed response as it is supposed to be the last season of the series.
Dead To Me, The Plot
The plot is centered around two ladies with the same yet different story, namely Jen and Judy. Jen lost her husband in a hit and run incident. This incident leads to a massive impact on Jen’s mental health, and to let go of the grief, she tries to focus on yoga and therapies.
She has been a member of a grief support group where she meets Judy, who also mourns her fiance’s death due to severe cardiac arrest. But the reality is something different. Later, the series shows that Judy is the hit-and-run driver who killed Jen’s husband. The whole series is weaved around the entire incident and the characters’ struggles to face each other.
The Cast Lineup
Christina Applegate has played the character of Jen, Linda Cardellini can be seen playing Judy Hale, Luke Roessler is Henry Harding, Jen’s younger son.
Liz Feldman has created the series. The musician on board is Adam Blau. The Cinematography has been helmed by the fantastic cinematography duo Danny Moder and Toby Oliver for seasons one and two, respectively.
When Will It Release?
The series has a history of releasing new seasons in May. The makers may expect the same ritual for the release of the third season.
For now, there has not been any prior exact release date confirmed by the makers.
