Ever since Chiranjeevi joined hands with Koratla Shiva, fans of Mega Star have been eagerly waiting to know more about the film. Though any important details about the movie are not out yet, some of them have leaked through various sources. The shooting of the film is currently going on and the team of Acharya has decided to not make any announcements while the shoot is going on. However, Chiranjeevi has slipped his tongue at O Pitta Katha Pre Release Event as Chief Guest and revealed the title of the movie as ‘Acharya’.
Acharya Cast & Crew
Acharya is written and being directed by Koratala Siva. He is known for his films like Srimanthudu, Mirchi, Janatha Garage and Bharat Ane Nenu. Acharya will star Chiranjeevi and Trisha in lead roles.
It is also rumored that Mahesh Babu will be playing a role in the movie. Regina Cassandra will be seen in a dance number. Actors Jayaprakash, Akshara Gowda and Sonu Sood are also part of the film.
The film is being produced under the banners of Konidela Pro Company and Matinee Entertainment.
The music of the film will be composed by Mani Sharma. S. Thirunavukkarasu is the cinematographer for this film. And Sreekar Prasad will be editing the film. Suresh Selvarajan is the Production Designer.
Acharya Story
It is rumored that Chiranjeevi will be playing dual roles in this movie. He will be seen as Govind and Acharya. Touted to be a socio-political actioner, the plot of the film reportedly revolves around a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation of temple funds and donations.

Acharya Release Date
The film is expected To release in the summer of 2020. Chiranjeevi has openly said that he asked Koratala Siva to wrap up the shoot of the film as soon as possible which will be profitable to the producers and the industry.
