It is this Saturday, August 3 that expires the ultimatum posed by the Ambazonian secessionists to the Cameroonian authorities. They demand that light be shed on the case of some of the movement’s leaders who have disappeared.
It is in a press release published this Monday (29.07.19) that the secessionist movement of the Federal Republic of Ambazonia promises to paralyze all economic, social, legal or state sectors of activity, if the Cameroonian authorities do not give evidence of life of their leaders.
This is Mancho Bibixy, Cameroonian political activist and other detainees they have not heard since the mutinies of 22 and 23 July in the central prison of Yaounde and that of Buea.
To meet their requirements, the Ministry of Communication has, in a tweet, Tuesday (30.07.19), clarified the situation of these detainees.
False allegations
“False allegations concerning the death of Mancho Bibixy” are circulating. “The latter, spotted among the 177 leaders, is doing well, just like the other insurgents arrested in custody for investigation,” reads the tweet of the ministry.
