Blood and Treasure Season 2 Release Date
Blood and Treasure is an action-adventure drama series that was praised for its storyline. Season 1 was premiered on 21st May 2019 and ended on 6th August 2019. Halfway through the first season, CBS has announced the renewal news of Blood and Treasure Season 2.
However, the release date of Blood and Treasure Season 2 is not confirmed. According to a report from Daytime Confidential, season 2 has started filming in November 2019. Whereas, lead actor Matt Barr’s Instagram hinted that he was on sets in October 2019. The release may have delayed due to the COVID-19 situation.
Fans expected the season 2 release in summer 2020, but when CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kehl said, “We are keeping our options open,” Deadline stated that Blood and Treasure is one of the options. Then in May 2020, the Executive producer of the show, Matthew Federman, confirmed that season 2’s filming is not completed.
He said, “We will get back to shooting and finish the season when it’s deemed safe. No air date yet,” when a fan asked him about the show’s status on Twitter. The makers have not announced till now, but the fans expect Blood and Treasure Season 2 to air in summer 2021.
