Big Time Rush is an American musical comedy television series that was initially premiered on Nickelodeon from November 28, 2009, until July 25; the series revolves around the lives of four hockey players from Duluth, Minnesota. Kendall Knight, James Diamond, Carlos Garcia, Logan Mitchell are the four boys who dream of forming a boy band one day.
The show was a big hit and received lots of appreciation from the critics. Big Time Rush was created by Scott Fellows, the former creator, executive producer, and showrunner of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. In an interview, Fellow had said The Monkees ( a popular and culturally significant American television series) was his inspiration for making this series. The last season of the series was premiered on May 2, on13. Season 4 is the previous series that premiered.
Big Time Rush Season 5: Release Date and Premiere
After the release of the 4th season, Big Time Rush disbanded and left their way. As of now, there has been no official announcement about the premiere of the new season. We can see the Big Time Rush team uniting in a video. They have reactivated their Twitter page and have teased a comeback. In the video, Carlos ended by saying, “See you soon.”
Fans were tweeting about the premiere of season 5 after the video was released. Meanwhile, Nickelodeon retweeted their tweets. This gives a ray of hope for the fans waiting for the premiere of the 5th season. However, on the band ever making a return, James Maslow explained that their work so far Is not going to disappear after they go to their separate ways, but new content will take time. But a matter to be noticed here is that James Maslow’s interview making these statements is not a recent one. The interview was taken back in 2013, and a lot has changed since then.
The post-pandemic social media activity may be a mark of the band’s return, and it seems like the band only wants to create music together. Therefore, Big Time Rush is not likely to return for another season.
