The moment the contestants of Bigg Boss were introduced by Bhaijaan Salman Khan, the contestants spoke about a few things before entering the house. Moreover, each of the female contestants in the house was assigned a significant duty. Additionally, they also had to select a male counterpart to share the duty. One of the crucial twists were, the male contestants have to get as many duties as they could:

- Siddharth Shukla and Devoleena Bhattacharjee – Kitchen Duty comprising: Breakfast & Lunch.
- Siddharth Shukla and Rashami Desai – Kitchen Duty comprising: Chai & Dinner.
- Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill – Rationing Duty
- Siddharth Dey and Shefali Bagga – Pool Duty and Gardening
- Siddharth Shukla and Dalljeit Kaur – Bedroom Duty
