Badhaai Do Release Date, Cast, Plot | Shooting begins next year in January with Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao

The forthcoming film, Badhaai Do is all set to begin shooting from January 2021 with Bhumi Pednekar and National Award-Winning actor who is stealing the limelight of other Indian actors, Rajkkumar Rao. By the looks of it, Badhaai Do is the sequel of the hit drama-comedy film Badhaai Ho, directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. The unveiling of the film is a treat for the fans of Badhaai Ho. Moreover, the film will be produced by Junglee Pictures.

Its been two years that Badhaai Ho is out; hence to make the occasion memorable among fans, the makers came up the announcement of the sequel of Badhaai Ho featuring Rajkummar Rao & Bhumi Pednekar as the main cast.

Badhaai Do: Characters

Rajkummar Rao portrays the role of Delhi cop in a Mahila thana. This is the first time that Rajkummar Rao will play a cop on-screen. Bhumi Pednekar, on the other hand, will be portraying the character of a Physical Education teacher which she has not portrayed ever in her career. Further, Bhumi Pednekar also said that she has played distinctive roles in her films, however, her character in Badhaai Do will be a special memento for her.

Pednekar has also revealed that she loved the script the moment laid her eyes on it. Additionally, this will be the first time that Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen sharing a screen. Rajkummar Rao has revealed that the audience and the fans of the first instalment, Badhaai Ho are in for a surprise.

It’s been a couple of years that the groundbreaking Hindi film Badhaai Ho is released. The actors of the first film were Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Sanya Malhotra, Surekha Sikri and Gajraj Rao. The entire cast of Badhaai Ho won the hearts of the audience with their performance, plot and social message.
