Avatar 2 the epic science fiction movie will be released around the last leg of the year, helmed by the known filmmaker James Cameron, who is best known for his movies Terminator(1984), Terminator 2: The Judgment Day(1991), Titanic (1997), Avatar (2009).
Avatar 2 is the sequel to the latter movie which is the highest-grossing movie of all time. Made on a budget of around 327 million dollars (INR 2498 Cr approx) and grossed a whopping 2.847 billion dollars (INR 21,391 Cr approx) worldwide.
It will serve as the sequel to Avatar (2009), let you know there are three more sequels of the film in the row, which is going to release by 2028, they are tentatively titled Avatar 3, 4&5 consecutively, though the makers didn’t disclose the real name of these sequels.
The film Avatar 2 was to be released in Dec 2021 but got halted owing to the Covid pandemic, to which the film’s creator publicly apologized in July 2020 he stated in the letter,” The pandemic has halted their virtual production work, lest they have had a whole plan to release the film by Dec 2021.”
Avatar 2 New Title
Earlier the sequel of Avatar was tentatively called Avatar 2, and now the film is titled Avatar: The Way of Water by the makers. Let us also inform you that the trailer of the film will be launched along with Doctor Strange in theaters next week.

Avatar 2 Budget & Release Date
The filming of this sequel and the next sequel was begun simultaneously, in Sept 2017, the budget is being said for the film is around 250 million dollars (INR 1909 Cr approx). As per the latest reports, Avatar 2 will be released in 160 languages worldwide on 16 December 2022.

As per the reports, the teaser of this highly anticipated film will be attached with another cinematic brilliance film Benedict Cumberbatch starrer upcoming film Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness that is hitting the theatres on May 6 this year.
