The much-awaited Dhanush – Vetrimaaran combo movie Asuran has finally hit the theaters across Tamil Nadu and all over the world. Fans of Dhanush were eagerly waiting for this film from the past few weeks and to their happiness, it got a grand release today.
In case you didn’t know, the film is based on the novel Vekkai by Poomani. It is an action drama film set in a village. Under the direction of Vetrimaaran, The film stars Dhanush and Manju Warrier as the lead pair.

Asuran Movie Review
Set in a village, Asuran tells a story of Siva Saamy and his family. It is a revenge drama and no one better than Vetrimaaran to say a revenge story. The screenplay of the movie is linear yet it is appealing.
Unline in Vada Chennai, Dhanush will be seen in an out and out massy fierce character in this film. In Asuran, Dhanush has given one of his best performances. His character is raw, real and natural which is a treat to watch.
The performances in the movie are terrific. Each and every actor does complete justice to the characters they played. The story is such that it requires the actors to deliver to make it look natural and the actors were right up to mark.
The background score and songs by G.V Prakash Kumar are a great asset to the film. Velraj’s cinematography also deserves a special mention. There are many scenes and shots in the film that are absolutely brilliant.
To conclude, we must say the Vetrimaaran and Dhanush have delivered yet again after their recent success, Vada Chennai. Asuran will be a treat to watch for film lovers. Don’t miss this movie on the big screen.
