Ashwathama is an upcoming Tollywood movie directed by Ramana Teja. The film features Naga Shourya and Mehreen Pirzada, Posani Krishna Murali in main roles. The film was produced by Usha Mulupuri under the IRA creations banner. The film is scheduled to release on 31st January 2020.
The film Ashwathama will be about women’s safety as it showcases the difficulties faced by women. The protagonist will be solving the mystery of the continuous deaths of women. The story of this film was written by Naga Shaurya.
Sricharan Pakala has composed songs, Ghibran has scored the background music for the film. Manoj Reddy is the cinematographer, and the film was edited by Garry BH. The makers of this film released the motion poster of Ashwathama on November 29th, 2019.
The teaser of this film was released on 26th December 2019. The teaser received a good response from the audience as it got around 4.9 Million views with 91 thousand likes. Later, the makers released the trailer on 23rd January 2020 which also received an immense response with 5.5 Million views and 92 thousand likes.
Sri Charan Pakala who is known for his works- Kshanam, Goodachaari, Evaru has composed songs for the film. Ghibran who is known for his terrific background score works in Vishwaroopam, Raatchasan, Saaho has scored background score for the film.
Though he played an important role in the film Oh Baby, Naga Shaurya is coming as the main lead with Ashwathama after his last film Nartanasala which was released in 2018. The film’s success is a much-needed one for Naga Shaurya, as his last 3 movies Kanam, Ammammagarillu, Nartanasala performed averagely at the box-office.
The gripping visuals, powerful background score makes Ashwathama an out and out thriller which also increases huge expectations on the film. We wish things turn out good for Naga Shaurya with Ashwathama and may it becomes a blockbuster.
