Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemed to have settled in nicely in Montecito, California, after purchasing their first home together in the neighborhood back in June 2020, according to the Los Angeles Times. However, Express reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may see some great value in living in New York City. “It doesn’t really come as any surprise that the story coming back to me from a very good source is that Harry and Meghan now see themselves being pitched out in New York,” royal expert Neil Sean told the outlet.
“[The] real reason apparently why Harry and Meghan have fallen in love with the Big Apple is simply this – as ever now they are not royals but micro-celebrities, they have to think about how they can build their brand, make money. All the big influencers are not necessarily out in California,” Sean explained to Express. He went on to say that it’s more likely that Harry and Meghan would buy a second home in the Big Apple to have as a sort of “base” for any and all upcoming visits. Could the Duke and Duchess of Sussex become the latest bi-coastal celebrities? Only time will tell.
