Pushpa is an action thriller movie based on the smuggling of red sander trees in Seshachalam forest, Andhra Pradesh. According to sources, the movie will revolve around a lorry driver who is part of an illegal business. The film is directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media.

The movie cast includes Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Other cast members are Dhananjay, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and Sunil. Dhananjay, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj will play essential roles in the movie, whereas Sunil will be playing a supporting role. Devi Sri Prasad composes the music of the film.
