Recently, rumors started taking around that Ajay Devgn’s “Maidaan” is releasing on the OTT Platforms. But now, the makers have timely squashed all such rumors. The producers of “Maidaan” Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta have denied any plans of giving Maidaan an OTT release.
A common statement suggested that the makers aren’t in talks with any of the OTT platforms, and right now, they are only focussing on a successful and safe shooting.
The statement read, “ We wish to share that there’s at the moment no dialogue with any streaming platform for pay-per-view launch of Maidaan. Our focus, at current, is to finish the movie conserving everybody’s security in thoughts and full compliance with protocols laid down by the federal government. We request you to please attain out to us concerning any information about Maidaan”.

Maidaan is a biographical drama featuring Ajay Devgn in the role of football coach Syed Abdul. Since its announcement, the film has created a lot of hype around it, which is obvious considering the dazzling record of Ajay Devgn. The film is directed by Amit Sharma and produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with Bayview Projects LLP.
Maidaan OTT Release Date:
Besides Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, Rudranil Ghosh, and Gajraj Rao will also be playing crucial roles. The film is scheduled for a release on 15 October 2021.
